There is a lot to like about this app, but I find myself steering away. The imagery choices that the speaker uses were in a bunch of cases not for someone as literal-minded as me. At one point, she asks you to picture yourself on top of the tallest mountain, so I went to Mt Everest, with high winds and thin oxygen. Also the earth is not solid all the way through. Little things like this added up for me and made this hard to use and enjoy. The same app with better instruction would be amazing.
It really is a very good app. Those who work under stress would find this very helpful. :) Thanks to the developers for creating this.
wonderful app! Got me back into meditation. Things Id love to see in a future update: more meditations, of course! Would love just sounds or music for the timer. The "check ins" are really fantastic, being able to check in multiple times a day would be really useful, how I feel at 8am is not how I feel at 2pm! Then being able to really look at that daily data to help you understand your highs and lows. Thanks for making such a great app guys!
this app has helped me through some of my worst panic attacks because its so calming. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

Hands down, this app is the best thing I have ever spent money on. I am very skeptical of most things, so I went into this thinking I could delete it if I did not like it because it is free. However, one short meditation was all it took to get me hooked! I ended up buying the three extra packs they offer for a great price because it changed my life and I want to continue using it. This app is beautiful, relaxing, and I love all the images and stickers it has. I tend to get very depressed/sad/stressed/anxious/you fill in the slash because even though I am only 21, I suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and it wreaks havoc on my daily life and my feelings and trickles into my relationships. I decided enough was enough and sprung for this app and I am so thrilled I did. This app is literally a life saver and I know I havent meditated when I start feeling very overwhelmed or angry so I force myself to slow down and really enjoy my meditation. Most of the times I am too impatient for the longer ones, but I love doing the shorter meditations and they are all different and helpful to me depending on how I am feeling. I also love that it asks you how you are feeling both mentally and physically when you open the app. My only suggestion is that they add the feeling "tired" because oftentimes that is just the only way I am feeling. Overall, this is an excellent app, I recommend it to everyone I know, and I have been using it since November and still going strong! I am almost the person I want to be emotionally and mentally and I owe most of that to this app! Thank you, Jamie + all who collaborated to make this app!
Let me just start off by saying, Ive never meditated before. A friend of mine was telling me about it one night so I couldnt help but search the App Store. In choosing this random app, this app helped me understand what meditating does for us and learning the different types of meditation. As I read up on it(in the app itself), I couldnt help but try it out. After one night, and falling asleep even better than before, I continued to do it every night. Not only do I sleep better, but I feel better mentally and physically. I never knew how mediation could possibly affect my life the way it did. This app truly helped me. There are different meditations to choose from within the app, and each one has a description of what it can help you with. I highly recommend this app to any and everyone. Thanks!
Great app with inspiring meditations - gratefulness, change, cause & effect, etc. Meditations you can complete on a walk, in your living room, or break from work. Really love this app & it keeps you motivating to continue to work on your mindfulness by coming back & tuning into your emotions at present. Love it!
Ive been searching for a meditation app to use with a 12-step recovery program and this one fits the bill perfectly. Easy to use, great calming voice to guide you and a nice variety of different meditations to choose from. I even like the "atta boy" emails I get at the end of the week.

Ive used this app for two weeks solid multiple times a day and find it a great intro for novice meditators. The app also helps track your emotions over time as well as your overall well being as you see it.

I cant stress enough how cool this app is. Finally, a beginner friendly way to go about breath and mindfulness without the foreign terminology and music. (Theres nothing wrong with chakras and meditations roots, but it can be odd to some) The layout is pleasing to the eye. The optional text you can read to learn about the scientific benefits of meditation/how to do it is fascinating. I dig that selects a guided session based on how you feel, or you can just pick whatever. I bought the extra/extended sessions because theyre worth it and the money goes to a good cause. The women who guide you through the sessions are very calming and clear in vocal tone. Its a free app with a lot of good to offer, give this life changing experience a go!
This app is simply amazing! Having the check-in before each meditation and the progress keeper makes it seems much more personalized and custom just for you. All of the meditations are lovely and last respectable lengths of time. I love the sticker aspect since it just makes you want to meditate even more. This app simply outdoes itself and always manages to calm me down. Im sure theres magic and witchery behind it! :)
I dont write many reviews, but wanted to because this app is really wonderful. I also use the Web version, which works exactly the same way. Prompts you to check in with your body/mood, then recommends a few guided meditations. Ive had the app for close to two years, and continue to find that it helps me stay grounded and really helps me to find self-compassion.
